OUR STORY
Best Bid is one of the largest stucco and stone companies in the Mid-Atlantic Region, installing over 40 million square feet of product since 1984. Best Bid is factory certified to install all major brands of stucco. We own over 6,650 pieces of OSHA approved scaffolding, 27 company trucks, and have in excess of 110 trained Stucco and Stone masons ready to perform any size project. Our job safety record is one of the best in the industry. We pride ourselves in our ability to perform on small repairs or mammoth Federal Government projects, where security clearance and certified payroll is required of all employees. Best Bid enjoys a very healthy financial condition with a .0500 debt to asset ratio and no bank debt. We are an open shop however we have the capability to satisfy union requirements when necessary. Best Bid’s mission is to treat any and all clients with respect, fairness, and dignity.

Bernie Franks was one of the founders of “The Madison Group,” a Washington, D.C. venture capital and business development company. Mr. Franks’ experience and current interests span the Textile Fashion Industry, Real Estate Development and Investment Industry, and the Construction Industry. Under his guidance, Best Bid continues to be a major presence in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

QUALITY CONTROL THAT EXCEEDS INDUSTRY STANDARDS
Quality Control is the hallmark of Best Bid’s success. Quality control begins with strict adherence to the manufacturer’s specifications and the architectural specifications. Best Bid’s project managers inspect all work for workmanship and aesthetics. We have a team of quality control inspectors that add a second layer of supervision to insure complete adherence to Best Bid’s quality control standards.
ZERO TOLERANCE SAFETY PROGRAM
Best Bid employs a zero tolerance safety program. All field employees are routinely trained in the latest OSHA safety requirements and have received OSHA’s coveted 30 Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification training. Zero tolerance means that any employee who does not comply with Best Bid’s safety program will be dismissed.
TRAINING THAT NEVER STOPS
Best Bid conducts a continuing education program for all of its field employees, and refresher courses to make sure industry details and specifications never become forgotten or stale. To keep Best Bid a leader in the construction industry new and innovative products are introduced.
